HOW TO REACH STOCKHOLM CITY FROM ARLANDA AIRPORT
Stockholm city can be most conveniently reached by airport coach or by the Arlanda train.
The Flygbussarna Airport Coaches Arlanda–Stockholm depart every ten minutes from Arlanda bus stop at the airport Terminals 5, 4 and 2 (fare 99 SEK one way). It takes approx. 45 minutes to arrive Stockholm Central Station. There are several bus stops on the way to Stockholm Central Station, for example, St. Eriksgatan (just in front of the Elite Palace Hotel) and St. Eriksplan.
The ArlandaExpress, a train directly to Stockholm Central Station, departs mostly every 15 minutes and has two stops at Arlanda airport (at Terminals 2,3,4 and Terminal 5). It takes 20 minutes to Stockholm Central Station and the fare is 260 SEK for one person/one way.

HOW TO PURCHASE YOUR PUBLIC TRANSPORT TICKET IN STOCKHOLM
To access any public transportation in Stockholm, you need an access card upon which you can upload your tickets. You can purchase the card at SL Centers in Metro stations, but also at all Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven shops. Most conveniently, you can buy the access card and tickets already at Arlanda airport, Terminal 5, floor 2 in the arrival hall at the Arlanda Visitor Centre. There, you can also find information about Stockholm and can buy other tickets such as the ticket for the ArlandaExpress.
The one-day (24 hours) or the multiple day (72 hours) ticket entitles you to unlimited travel around Stockholm on SL buses, the Metro and the local trains (Pendeltåget and Roslagsbanan). We recommend the 72 hours ticket, which costs 230 SEK (25 Euro). Further information can be found at the website www.sl.se
